Tóm tắt:TÀI LIỆU THAM KHẢO:This study presents the synthesis of a super hygroscopic polymeric film (SHPF) for atmospheric water harvesting, utilizing carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), xanthan gum (XG), and calcium chloride (CaCl2) through gelation, cross-linking, and the formation of a three-dimensional network. CMC functions as a thickening agent, facilitating cross-linking and contributing to the material’s swelling and deswelling behavior. XG enhances the structural integrity of the polymer by forming a highly cross-linked supportive framework. CaCl2 acts as both a hygroscopic salt, enabling moisture adsorption, and a cross-linker that strengthens the polymeric network. The study investigates the influence of raw material composition on water retention, adsorption, and release performance, optimizing moisture absorption capacity through ratio adjustments. Additionally, the material is evaluated for its effectiveness in continuous regeneration cycles, providing insights into its scalability for large-scale water recovery applications. SHPF with a CMC:XG:CaCl2 ratio of 1:4:5 demonstrates a moisture adsorption capacity of up to 1 g•g⁻1, with rapid moisture release and notable durability.
